The short verdict
The OnePlus 12 is the flagship for people who refuse to overpay. You get a top-tier Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, a bright 120Hz LTPO panel, a capable Hasselblad camera system and charging that humiliates Apple and Samsung — all for hundreds less. Full details on the OnePlus 12 specs page.
Display and design
The 6.82-inch QHD+ LTPO display is one of the brightest going, and the curved glass plus alert slider give the OnePlus 12 a genuinely premium feel. It is a big phone, but the in-hand experience punches above the price.
Performance and charging
Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 means there is no performance compromise versus phones costing far more. The real party trick is charging: 100W wired fills the big battery in around half an hour, plus 50W wireless. For anyone who hates being tethered, the OnePlus 12 is liberating.
Cameras
The Hasselblad-tuned triple camera — 50MP main, 3x telephoto, ultrawide — is strong and consistent, if a half-step behind the absolute best from Samsung and Google in tricky light. For most people it is more than enough, and the colour science is pleasant out of the box.
Who should buy it
Buy it if you want flagship power and the fastest charging for the least money. Cross-shop the Galaxy S24 Ultra if you want the S Pen and longer updates, or the Pixel 9 Pro if the camera is your priority.
